		<description>Baking soda, yes.  Just one of the very, very many terms I had to learn the &#039;translation&#039; for when I came over - had a good laugh reading the Speaking Of Scotland post too.  Majority of it applies for here (England) too.

Had a right good (very English, eh? lol) time figuring out how it was that cars could operate if they couldn&#039;t go on the pavement.  I&#039;m sure I&#039;ve kept many an Englishman/woman amused during my time here.</description>
