Much better now
I am a clean person. I need a clean environment to thrive. I like right angles and shiny counter tops and sparkling dishes and no dust. Megan is even cleaner.
So, I think I did pretty well to live in the manse with a largely non-functioning vacuum cleaner for two months. After some conversations with very understanding committee members, we got offered a trip to Ikea. And today I bought a new vacuum for which I’ll be reimbursed.
The picture–of one vacuuming of our small house–speaks for itself.

I am a clean person, and in this new environment I might thrive.

All that funk probably saved your lives from some Scottish super bug. You should say a prayer of thanksgiving to God for bringing all the dead skin, mites, and general muck into your sterilized lives. Now your immune systems have had a chance to build up resistance and you will be able to carry on with your collared business.
Clean houses make me relax and become able to get things done.
Love the cyclone vacuums as it is AMAZING how much can always be found. It turns into a sick cleaning game, “Look it’s still picking stuff up!”
