Have you looked at Fred Craddock's commentary in the WJK Interpretation series? It's now available in paperback.

Thanks, you two. I've been otherwise occupied in recent days. I concur with Andrew's worship suggestions, and add Marva Dawn's Reaching Out Without Dumbing Down. Tribal Church by Carol Howard Merritt is good (though not specifically worshippy) to get up on gen x & y issues. And I haven't read it yet, but several folks have recommended Simple Church to me.

I'm also looking for a good Luke commentary, Nancy. I did have one for Saunder's class, but I'm not near my bookshelf. It was good, but I'd take another as well.

This post has received very little attention. People must be busy with the holidays. Hope everything went well with your various services Adam!

In terms of your conference, recent worship reads I've enjoyed (and you've probably already heard of or included) are A More Profound Alleluia, edited by Leanne Van Dyk and The Singing Thing by John Bell.

In terms of other books, my favorites (and I know I'm behind the times) were Pillars of the Earth and A Thousand Splendid Suns.
